Meghan Markle's Easter Dress Is the Epitome of California Cool

Meghan Markle, once again, brought her fashion A-game to another memorable occasion — this time on Easter Sunday.

“Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!” Meghan, 43, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, April 20, sharing footage of herself marveling over a family of ducks in her backyard.

In the video, Meghan made a stylish statement in her white halter dress that delivered an effortlessly chic flair of California cool vibes. The frock featured a flared skirt and a belt tied around the Duchess of Sussex’s waist, as well as black buttons that popped against the crisp white fabric.

Meghan completed her ensemble with gold jewelry and a pair of neutral-colored ballet flats. For glam, she opted for a dewy, minimal look with her signature long locks fastened into a sleek chignon.

Sharing the holiday video on her Instagram Stories, Meghan wrote, “An Easter weekend surprise! 💕.”

Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, live in Montecito, California, with their two children: 5-year-old son Prince Archie and 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet. The Sussexes have been California-based ever since they stepped down from their duties as senior working royals in 2020.

Across the pond, Harry’s father, King Charles III, and wife Queen Camilla attended an Easter Mattins service on Sunday at St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle. They were joined by Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and their respective families. Charles’ eldest son, Prince William, however, opted to skip the service along with wife Princess Kate Middleton and their three children.

News broke earlier this week that William, 42, and Kate, 43, were seeking to have more family time before their little ones returned to school before spring break. The Prince and Princess of Wales previously missed the Windsor church service in 2024 when Kate was battling an undisclosed form of cancer. She is now in remission.
