Machine Gun Kelly fans were in for a treat when the rapper showed up alongside Travis Barker and Three 6 Mafia at Coachella over the weekend.
Kelly, 34, made a surprise appearance at the festival in Palm Springs, California on Friday, April 11. Kelly (real name Colson Baker) welcomed his first child with ex Megan Fox on March 27. The rapper is also a father to daughter Casie whom he welcomed in 2009 with ex Emma Cannon. Fox, 37, meanwhile, shares children Noah, Bodhi, and Journey with her ex Brian Austin Green.
Kelly shared footage of his performance at Coachella 2025 via X on Friday, writing in the caption, “let me cook.” In another post, the singer memorialized the moment by thanking Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J for the opportunity to perform with him on stage.
“juice believed in me 2011 before the world did. first rapper to pull up and get high with me,” Kelly wrote. “first major feature i had. the chorus of “wild boy” is sampled from our song on his mixtape.”
Kelly announced the birth of his and Fox’s baby via Instagram. “She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️ . 3/27/25,” he wrote alongside a video of the newborn.
The news came only hours after Kelly and Green made headlines due to a set of contentious text messages. “Stop asking when our child is gonna born. You the FEDS,” one message from Kelly to Green read. “Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking on my name in public.” (Us Weekly reached out to Kelly’s rep at the time.)
In November 2023, Fox, who has not yet commented on her newborn’s birth, revealed she suffered a miscarriage with Kelly.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” Fox said during an interview with Good Morning America at the time. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”

Fox wrote about the loss of the pregnancy in two poems in her book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In one part, she wrote of seeing the baby in a 10 week ultrasound, “Maybe if you hadn’t … maybe if I had.”
Fox and Kelly got engaged in 2022 but have ended their relationship several times. The pair broke up in November 2024 and Fox has since insisted she will not enter into a relationship with Kelly again.
On March 28, a source close to Fox told People, “It feels magical to her that she now has a baby girl too. She’s doing great and over the moon about her baby girl. The last few months alone have been difficult for her. At this point, she plans on co-parenting with Colson, but that’s it. She won’t be getting back together with him.”
