BMW’s 2025 Annual Conference suggested that future growth and software-defined vehicle concepts will be linked. By Will Girling

At BMW’s Annual Conference, held on 14 March 2025, the automaker emphasised the importance of new technology to its growth prospects. In addition to fresh electric, hybrid and hydrogen models, the brand’s future will rest on software-defined vehicle (SDV) innovations to catalyse the “next stage” of its customer and driving experience.
