S&P 500, Nasdaq Mark Best Day Since November But Fall Fourth Week in a Row

The S&P 500 marked its best day since Nov. 6, with the index bouncing back Friday after it entered correction territory in the previous session.

The market benchmark rose 2.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 675 points, or 1.7%. The Nasdaq Composite surged 2.6%.

Both the S&P and Nasdaq marked their best day since the day after the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
